Eye exam for prescription glasses

Full assessment of visual acuity, convergence and binocular vision. Reimbursed by most Swiss complementary insurance plans.

What it involves

The eye exam is a thorough check-up that precisely measures your visual acuity and picks up on any changes since your last correction. Vincent Kever runs a series of measurements (refraction, distance and near vision, binocular balance) using precision equipment, in the calm of the workshop. Expect around 30 to 45 minutes, including a conversation about the results, before leaving with a reliable prescription explained in plain terms.

Who it’s for

This exam suits anyone wishing to renew or check their correction, whether their glasses come from CasaVue or elsewhere. It fits a first pair just as well as a routine check, in cases of visual fatigue, recurring headaches, or simply to confirm your vision is still properly corrected as time passes.

In practice

By appointment only, so you're given the time this deserves without being rushed. Bring your previous prescription and current glasses if you have them. Partial reimbursement through supplementary insurance is sometimes possible — worth checking with your insurer directly. Price: CHF 48.-.
